Selena Gomez will donate some of the proceeds from her tour merchandise sales to benefit the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
“For every purchase of the new Dance Again merch in my store, a portion of proceeds will benefit the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund,” the 27-year-old singer wrote on Instagram on Thursday.
“It feels a little strange releasing something so lighthearted in the middle of such a heavy time for our world, but I also think it’s a good reminder that we will get through this together. 💖 ,” Gomez added.
Fans can purchase the Dance Again T-shirt ($30) and long-sleeved shirt ($45) on the pop star’s website.
Gomez has been practicing social distancing amid the virus outbreak, and recently sent well-wishes to her followers.
“Hope everyone is staying safe inside!” she wrote on Instagram earlier this week.
