Nigerians hail Tony Elumelu for UBA’s N5bn donation to combat coronavirus across Africa

Nigerians have begun praising Group Chairman of the United
Bank for Africa Plc (UBA), Tony Elumelu, after the bank announced a N5
billion ($14 million) donation to fight coronavirus across Africa.

The bank said on Thursday that it was making the donation through UBA Foundation to catalyse a comprehensive pan-African response to the fight against the coronavirus (COVID-19) global pandemic.

Nigerians on Twitter have begun singing the praises of
Mr Elumelu.
