Karlie Kloss made a rare comment regarding her marriage to Joshua Kushner and her political beliefs.
On Thursday night’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen,” Kloss said she’s an “open book” about her famous in-laws — after a “Project Runway” contestant recently made a snippy comment about the family.
“I was honored to be one of the first memes of the decade,” Kloss quipped to Andy Cohen.
During a recent episode of her reality competition series, Kloss was caught off guard when a contestant fought back against a critique Kloss made of the garment he had made for her. After fellow judge Brandon Maxwell said he couldn’t envision Kloss wearing the dress anywhere, the contestant replied, “Not even to dinner with the Kushners?”
Kloss married Kushner, the brother of President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, in 2018.
Cohen asked if she’d be willing to discuss her in-laws further, to which she said she was an “open book.”
“I’m sure I’m not the only person in this country who does not necessarily agree with their family on politics,” Kloss said. “I voted as a Democrat in 2016 and I plan to do the same in 2020.”
The Koding With Karlie founder continued, “I’m very passionate about different issues, women’s reproductive health and I’m very involved with Planned Parenthood.”
She added of the dress in question on “Project Runway”: “Honestly the real tragedy of this whole thing is no one is talking about how terrible this dress was. That’s why he went home.”
