Can you smell who The Rock is roasting?
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, 47, garnered guffaws galore after trolling comedian Kevin Hart, 40, with a meme comparing him to the virally adorable Baby Yoda of “The Mandalorian.” (The “Star Wars” creature caused its own internet storm Tuesday when Mattel announced that a Baby Yoda plush toy would soon be available.)
The Canadian-American actor posted the Instagram slam as a promotional stunt for the duo’s upcoming film, “Jumanji: The Next Level.”
But the former wrestler has certainly taken things to the next level. The pic shows The Rock cradling Yoda’s green spawn with the caption “Can’t wait to bring this little nugget home to meet his brother @kevinhart4real.”
He even threw in the hashtag #iamyourfather — a reference to the mind-melting paternal reveal in “Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.”
Unsurprisingly, The Rock’s stunt quickly took the ‘Gram by storm.
“Kevin got a lil brother,” replied stand-up comedian and DJ James Andre Jefferson Jr. “Baby Yoda was powerful enough to even vanquish @kevinhart4real,” @Bosslogic chimed in.
Hart’s face had been superimposed over a heartwarming pic of Johnson cradling his baby daughter, Tiana Gia Johnson, born in April 2018. Best of all, it was accompanied by a riff on “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” that depicted Hart in a less-than-flattering light.
That wasn’t the first time the pair have exchanged online barbs. This past Halloween, Hart went viral after “cosplaying” as an adorkable photo from the 90s of his jacked “Jumanji” co-star.
“Jumanji: The Next Level” — which also stars Jack Black, Karen Gillan and Nick Jonas — hits theaters Dec. 13.
