Sosoliso crash survivor, Kechi Okwuchi, shows scars in bikini pictures

America’s Got Talent star, Kechi Okwuchi, has once
again shown she is not ashamed of the scars she is left with after surviving a
plane crash.

The 30-year-old was one of the two survivors in the Sosoliso Airlines Flight 1145 crash on December 10, 2005.

Fourteen
years on, she has gone on to become a celebrated singer and motivational
speaker.

The
fun-loving Ms Okwuchi posted two unfiltered pictures of herself on Instagram on
Saturday as her entry for the trending #assheis challenge.

According to her “I’ve always tried to make it a point to share both the glam and not-so-glam parts of my life on social media because I don’t want to project a false idea of my reality on any platform.”

She,
however, confessed that social media puts her under pressure to always appear
perfect and put together.

“I can’t
explain it, it’s just something that unconsciously happened as I got more and
more followers, and I don’t like it.”

Thanking the friend who encouraged her to take the challenge, she said: “It made me remember why it’s so important to me to always be authentic on all platforms in my life: to remind girls, women and people in general that it is OKAY to not be perfect all the time. Yes, I want to be part of the movement of people that normalize being normal, in real life and online.”

It made me remember why it’s so important to me to always be authentic on all platforms in my life: to remind girls, women and people in general that it is OKAY to not be perfect all the time.
