Prince Harry may be ready for another child with wife Meghan Markle.
During a surprise visit to military families in Windsor, Berkshire this week, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex chatted with parents about maintaining a household with only one parent present, with Harry, 35, specifically asking about the challenges of having a second child. Their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, was born in May.
Susie Stringfellow told Forces Network that she and another attendee answered many of his questions, saying “Harry was really quite interested in how things were with second children as well, because we both have older children. We were trying to encourage him to have a second baby.”
Another guest discussed the difficulty of deployment on military families, with the royal father praising the group as a 10-year Army vet himself.
“It’s unbelievably hard. I have so much respect and admiration for anyone who has to deal with that,” the prince said. “I can’t imagine what it’s like to miss so much as they change so quickly.”
