Months after Nigerian pop star Augustine Miles Kelechi, popularly known as Tekno exited MMMG record label, he has called for a new manager.
OfofoBlogreports that Tekno made the call in an Instagram post where he lamented the stress of going solo.
According to the singer, the only thing he does perfectly is singing and not managerial duties.
Tekno wrote “Guys please I need a manager, I am tired of this solo shit, please I need someone that knows what to do with me, na music I sabi”
Meanwhile, the ‘Pana’ crooner was signed to the MMMG record label in 2013 and after 5 years he moved on to begin his own record label “Cartel.”
He subtly announced the move on Instagram where he shared the name of his label and captioned it “CEO”.
The singer in late 2018 suffered from an ailment which led to a damaged vocal box, hence, pleaded with Nigerians to pray for him.
Shortly after his recovery, Tekno recounted how people had accused his former manager, Ubi Franklin and Iyanya of being responsible for his ailment.
“Some people around me started saying it may be from Ubi Franklin because my contract was going to expire in a few months and he didn’t want me to sing again
Some others said It could be Iyanya, someone else said It could be a girl, another person offered to take me to see babalawo, I was really getting frustrated. Someone even told me to buy a goat and three matchetes for sacrifice” Tekno said.
