Matt Lauer accuser Brooke Nevils stepped out in public in Manhattan Wednesday night — just as she released a statement bashing him for “victim shaming” in his scathing response to her sexual assault allegations.
Nevils, 35, appeared surprised as she exited a town car to awaiting photographers outside Nobu Fifty Seven. She was also snapped kissing her partner.
The former NBC staffer accused Lauer, 61, of anally raping her in a hotel room in Sochi in 2014 during the network’s Olympic coverage. Details of the alleged assault were made in Ronan Farrow’s upcoming book, “Catch and Kill.”
Lauer was fired from the Peacock Network in 2017 after Nevils came forward to management with her claims.
Asked about her allegations, she said, “No comment, guys” as she waltzed into the restaurant.
