Taylor Swift is not letting her latest feud go. In her first concert since her very public fight with talent manager Scooter Braun, the pop diva threw some major shade.
During her performance of “Shake It Off” — which includes the lyrics, “Just think while you’ve been getting down and out about the liars and the dirty, dirty cheats in the world, you could have been getting down to this sick beat” — Swift, 29, emphasized the words “liars and the dirty, dirty cheats in the world” while looking straight at the camera.
Fans watching the Amazon Pride Day Concert quickly deciphered her riddle, and took to Twitter to point out the shade.
“Pretty sure she’s talking to you @scooterbraun” tweeted one.
“TAYLOR REALLT SAID F SCOTT AND SCOOTER DURING SHAKE IT OFF HUH #PrimeDayConcert” wrote another.
“Sex is cool and all but have you ever watched Taylor Swift shade scooter and Scott during a female-led concert after reminding everyone she writes all her own songs #PrimeDayConcert” commented a third.
The concert took place this Tuesday, July 10, about two weeks after Swift accused Braun, 38, of “bullying” her and essentially stealing her music. She claimed the A-lister manager purchased rights to her music behind her back after years of bashing her.
Braun reportedly called Swift to talk the problem out, but she denied his call. His celebrity clients, however, defended him all over social media, with Justin Bieber and Demi Lovato both releasing statements in his support.
