Anthony Joshua visits Nigeria again after 2 years

Anthony Joshua, British professional boxer and a former unified world heavyweight champion, has arrived Nigeria today with his entourage. And he had lots of fans pushing to get a touch of him. 

This is the first time he is visiting after his last visit in 2017.

Although the purpose of his visit is yet to be disclosed, however the Nigerian-born British boxer’s sister, Janet wrote as she gave an update of Anthony Joshua being home (Nigeria)

“Welcome home my dear brother. May the Lord almighty uphold you. Strengthen you and be with you.  Back to the mother land. The soil of our foundation #JoshuaGenerationDoing the work of God” she gushed.

Meanwhile, Eddie Hearn, had revealed that the delay in announcing Anthony Joshua’s rematch with Andy Ruiz Jr is due to the two camps failing to agree on a venue.
Anthony Joshua, the 2012 Olympic gold medallist is looking to immediately regain his world titles after suffering a shock defeat to the Destroyer last month.
