Looks like it’s back to the slammer for former ‘RHOA’ star, Apollo Nida.
US Weekly reports Nida, who was recently released from prison, broke a “technical requirement” that his freedom was contingent upon. Nida qualified for early release, but now due to his violation, he may end up finishing out the remainder of his original sentence which would end October 15th, 2019.
A source close to Radar Online reported that Nida was released on June 4th from prison, and was relocated to a Philadelphia halfway house where he was to remain until October 15th.
His incarceration stems from his his 2014 guilty conviction for conspiracy to commit mail, wire and bank fraud. The judge ordered him to spend 96 months behind bars, but Vida’s original sentence was reduced by a year in March.
Nida and Georgia peach Phaedra Parks split amid his legal troubles. Parks filed for divorce, and the proceedings were finalized in December of 2017.
She told US Weekly at the time, “I wasn’t holding on to him. He kept appealing the divorce and finally it was granted. Apollo and I started dating in high school and now I’m in my early 40s, so it was time to go. That’s almost a lifetime. Thank God it’s over, but thank God it happened because we have two beautiful kids.”
Despite the drama, Phaedra was openly optimistic about the future.
“I wish him the best and he wishes me the best. … We haven’t seen him in a while, but it’s OK,” she told Us Weekly. “We are in very normal communication with him through third parties, so he knows what is going on in their life.”
The pair share two sons, Ayden, 9 and Dylan 6.
Phaedra has since moved on both romantically and professionally. She left “RHOA” and is now in a relationship with radio host, Tone Kapone.
