Luann de Lesseps dodged jail time after she violated her probation by drinking alcohol last week, and now RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal the RHONY star thinks the rules authorities have put on her are “completely unnecessary.”
“Luann thinks the anti-drinking medication is borderline offensive,” a source snitched.
Since her bombshell arrest just before Christmas 2017 for assaulting and threatening to kill a police officer, the reality star still waves off the boozy incident. Added the informant “She’s convinced everyone that she is the victim here and downplays all of it when she speaks to her co-stars.”
The 54-year-old scoffs at the arrest like it was no big deal. “She jokes about her arrest and, initially, said that it will make a great storyline.”
But Luann’s plans of a great storyline backfired on her because “the producers at Bravo do not see this as a good storyline,” said the insider.
“When it comes to disobeying the law and making a mockery out of the system, Bravo has zero tolerance. She is being dishonest with everyone and she knows that her time is coming. It’s happened to so many before her and she also knows this.”
As Radar previously revealed exclusively, Luann — who was released from the custody of the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office on May 23 under strict probation terms that included taking anti-alcohol medication and a routine breathalyzer — may be fired from the show that made her a star.
“Producers are really considering letting her go because she has become a huge liability,” dished the snitch.“She thinks that she is invincible, and producers are really starting to think that being on the show is just making her problems worse.”
Readers know Luann was arrested in 2017 for assaulting and threatening to kill a police officer. She pleaded guilty to battery, trespassing and disorderly intoxication, and was sentenced to probation.Following the boozy meltdown, she did two stints in rehab — but still has struggled to stay sober.
